All of the CatClamp models can be installed permanently or installed to be removed by the owner for service and repair.

Can the thief just cut on either side of the CatClamp and take the converter and the CatClamp?

No, the CatClamp is attached to the frame of the vehicle using tough to cut aircraft grade stainless steel cables.

Can I install the CatClamp myself or do I need to take it to a mechanic?

The CatClamp can easily be installed by anyone with basic mechanical knowledge. The special key is included for installation. If you wish to have it installed at a shop, expect it to be installed for less than an hour of labor.

What is the warranty on the standard CatClamp?

Do you have a distributor in my area? Where can I get one?

At the current time all sales are direct through the manufacturer. Please refer to the order section of our website and fill out your information.

Why do you need my V.I.N.#?

When you provide us with a V.I.N.# we imprint the V.I.N. on the locking collars of the CatClamp as an added layer of security. If you wish not to have this done, simply leave the V.I.N. section blank. This is a feature only offered if buying direct from the manufacturer.

How long does it take to get my CatClamp?

Upon placing your order on our website your CatClamp will typically ship the same day via UPS from Toledo, Ohio. Expect 3-5 days for delivery. We do offer next day air upgrade, call us for details.

What if my vehicle has more than one catalytic converter?

Order one CatClamp for each converter that is out in the open and could potentially be cut off quickly and easily.

What is the success rate of the CatClamp?

Will the cables on the cage rattle and make noise?
